My name is Ednya Garcia. I am a Digital Media major and currently a Junior in SDSCPA. I was born and raised in San Diego California. My art specializes in using my imagination and turning that imagination into a beautiful, scary, adorable, or intriguing piece of art that is inspired into what I see or what I feel. I started as an artist that only did comics for myself, drawing cartoons of what I liked and stuff like that. Then I discovered the magic of digital art, and I realized that I wanted an art based job because I didn't want a job where I would kill myself working late hours in a job where I can't spread my wings and do what I love the most. So I decided to join SDSCPA to show me the skills I need in order to make my childhood dream come true. At the time I was really self-conscious about my art because I thought that I needed to draw realistic, or abstract, but then I learned that, that is not the case because this school is about mastering one's skills, not to change the kind of art that you choose to do because everyone's art is different, just like everyone is different. My goals for the future is to make a living out of my art to provide for my family, and my family's future generation.
